I keep nagging my children to back-up and archive the photos they take. I don’t suppose they will ever listen. But forty years from now there will be times that have escaped their memory and be lost forever. Like the negatives for all the images I took on a trip to West Wales around 1975. They are gone now. And so is the bandstand. But I have this one print that remains to remind me of that time gone by.

Long ago, it must be, I have a photograph … Preserve your memories, they’re all that’s left you.
